There is a great deal of planning for a wedding with important decisions to make, not least the choice of photographer. A wedding brings out many emotions and excitement and it is my role to catch the emotions for you to lock away and treasure. The final images you select will be displayed in a beautiful Jorgensen album. All the images are professionally printed by a photographic lab and all are individually hand edited and assembled in the album by me; resulting in a beautiful bespoke album. |

Initial meeting and pre-wedding shoot
You may like the photographs on this website so much that you pick up the phone or email me direct to make your booking straight away. However, some of my bookings are made on or after an initial meeting. This comprises an informal chat for you to discuss your wedding day expectations and wishes and to view recent wedding albums.
On receipt of your booking I like to arrange a pre-wedding shoot. Not all photographers offer this service as part of their wedding package, but I have found that it provides a fun way to get to know each other and provide you with some great, relaxed photographs of you both. The shoot lasts up to an hour at your reception venue or another convenient location and the images are available to view online within a few days. You can then select your favourite 10 images to go in a pocket book. |
The day itself
I will join the bride in the morning to photograph the getting ready and preparations, meet the groom at the church or venue and leave before your Wedding Breakfast commences or later, the decision is yours. I photograph the day as it unfolds and interact with you, your family and your guests. A variety of images are taken in an informal reportage style, along with a few more posed ones. I like to concentrate on the emotions and the spontaneity of the day so I prefer to limit group shots to just a handful.
Photography during the service is always at the discretion of the minister or registrar. |

Afterwards
When you return from your honeymoon your images will be ready for viewing and you can watch your wedding day unfold before you again, in a slideshow set to music. Now for the hardest task you have probably encountered in your short married lives.... selecting the photographs for your album. I make this easier for you by providing a proof book of all your images, each image is catalogued by an individual code. On receipt of your selections I personally design the layout of your album in your chosen format and your wedding album will be available for you within 6 to 8 weeks of receiving your order. Friends and family can view and purchase images from an online client gallery. Parent albums and a large selection of frames are available on request. |
